She sold her car to launch her business
💌 Teri says hi.
Hey friend,
This week we’re talking about building businesses, turning setbacks into rocket fuel, and why your voice belongs on a podcast (yes, yours).
If you’ve been thinking “maybe I should start a podcast…” — keep reading.
But first, some quick updates:
Last week was Gregg and my 14 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been 14 years. To celebrate we went for dinner, and then on Saturday we went to see Snoop Dogg perform at the BC Lions game and it was so much fun! Snoop is on my bucket list as a celebrity I want to meet so if any of you know him... hook me up.
Yesterday was the launch of the first (Almost) 1:1 workshop with Teri and Yahel, and it was amazing! We were both so happy to work with everyone who attended and we can't wait to do it again... so we will. Stay tuned for it.
🎙 Podcast Recap: Success in Mind
You know I love a good reinvention story — and this week’s episode delivers.
Dorothy Andreas joined me on Success in Mind and shared how she sold her car at 19 to open her first salon, rebuilt after a devastating fire, and now teaches entrepreneurs how to scale fast, all while dancing through tough times to a little help from Madonna (yes, really).
Whether you're building your first business or your fifth, her story is pure fuel for the journey.
Let’s get into it 👇

Ep. 376 How Dorothy Andreas Built 9 Businesses and Helps Entrepreneurs Scale to 7 Figures
In this conversation, Dorothy Andreas breaks down the highs, the lows, and the mindset it takes to keep going no matter what:
✅ How she launched her first salon at 19 by selling her car
✅ The fire that destroyed her business—and what she did next
✅ Why mindset is everything when it comes to sustainable growth
✅ The 3-part formula she teaches clients to scale fast
✅ How podcasting is opening new speaking opportunities for her
✅ And yes… the one Madonna song that carried her through the hardest times
You’re going to love this one.

🧠 Why You Need to Start a Podcast (Like… Now)
Here’s the truth no one is telling you:
Podcasting isn’t saturated. It's underserved.
There are millions of listeners hungry for content, but they’re not looking for "more podcasts."
They’re looking for your voice, your perspective, your expertise.
Here’s why now is the best time to launch:
🎙 Podcasting builds instant authority — you're seen as the expert.
🎙 You create long-form, evergreen content that works while you sleep.
🎙 Long-form content converts faster than social media content
🎙 It opens doors to collaborations, partnerships, speaking gigs, and clients
🎙 And most importantly: your message reaches people who need it.
Your future clients?
They’re literally out there, right now, searching for you.

Until next time, may your coffee be strong, your mindset stronger, and your tech actually work on the first try.
byee,
Teri
