Reclaiming hope after everything falls apart
š Teri says hi.
Hey there, friend!
Quick life update from me: Iāve been in a season of deep reflection and big energy shifts. You know those moments when you realize youāre not who you were six months agoāand thank God for that? Yeah, Iām in one of those.
Iāve been simplifying, saying yes to what feels aligned, and a big āno thank youā to anything that doesnāt. That includes finally launching something thatās been on my heart for a while⦠more on that below.
If summer is bringing up that strange mix of expansion and exhaustion for you, you're not alone. Letās talk about it.
š Podcast Recap: Reclaiming Identity After Trauma with Erika Brouillette

When life as you know it shatters, how do you find your way back to yourself?
In this powerful episode of Success in Mind, Erika Brouillette shares:
-
The moment everything changedāand what she wishes she knew then
-
Why caregiving can cause an identity crisis (and how to get yours back)
-
How she found hope againāand is now helping other women do the same
And she shares her experience launching Real Lives of TBI Wives after taking my 5-Day Launch Your Podcast.
This conversation is raw, honest, and full of hope. Whether youāve faced trauma yourself or you love someone who has, itās a must-listen.
š Binge-Worthy: Summer Slump or Summer Shift?

Letās talk about that summer feeling.
One moment, youāre full of fresh energy, eating watermelon in the sunshine⦠the next, you're overwhelmed, unmotivated, and wondering if itās seasonal burnout or just a mental fog with SPF 50.
Hereās your reminder: summer isnāt just for vacations. Itās for recalibration.
Instead of pushing yourself to stay āproductiveā in the traditional sense, try this:
-
Reframe rest as preparation. Stillness isn't stagnationāit's strategy.
-
Let the sun soften your inner critic. Not everything has to be optimized. Some things just get to feel good.
-
Use the long days for long thoughts. Journal. Dream. Wander. Let your future self send you a few postcards.
This season is about integration, not just action. Itās not lazy to slow downāitās wise. Let your nervous system catch up to your growth.
