Breathe. You're Doing Better Than You Think.
đ Teri says hi.
Hey friend,
Can we just take a collective deep breath together? Like the kind that unclenches your jaw, lowers your shoulders, and reminds you that youâre doing just fine.
This week, I had more than one moment where I questioned everything. (Shoutout to the overthinkersâour brains are tired.) But then I remembered: growth isnât loud. Itâs subtle. Quiet. Sometimes it looks like pausing. Or redirecting. Or unfollowing one more âperfectâ stranger who makes you feel like youâre not enough.
You are enough. Youâre in progress. Youâre exactly where you need to be.

Being Visible Online (Without Selling Your Soul)

Letâs talk about visibility.
Everyone says you have to âput yourself out thereâ if you want to grow your brand, build a business, or make an impact. And while thatâs true⌠what they donât tell you is how vulnerable it feels to show up as yourselfâon camera, on socials, on a podcast, or on a stage.
Hereâs the truth: Being visible isnât about being everywhere.
Itâs about being authentically you, somewhere.
⨠Pick one platform that feels like home.
⨠Share what youâre learningânot just what youâve mastered.
⨠Speak like a human, not a brand manual.
People donât connect with perfection.
They connect with presence, with honesty, and with energy that feels real.
So post the thing. Record the video. Send the email. Launch the podcast. (I'm looking at you, my recent 5-Day Launch Your Podcast grads).
You never know who needed to see you showing up so they could believe itâs safe to show up too.
But here's the thing... you only share what you WANT to share. You don't have to share everything. Often, people think that in order to show up authentically, they have to share it all.
This is not the case.
In fact, it might not be appropriate to share everything.
For example, I'm very public online, but my husband is very private. I don't share much about him on my online channels and when I do, I only share what I have permission to share from him.
Who gets to decide what you should or shouldn't share? YOU DO.
(Teri says hi to the brave ones hitting âpublishâ even when their hands are shaking.)
đŁShout-outs!
Last week 9 people attended the 5-Day Launch Your Podcast Challenge. They showed up, they did the work, and they are about to start launching their podcasts!
And I can't wait to share them with you.
If you are looking for some new voices to keep you company, I've got you. I'll be sharing them here so get ready.
â Teriâs Top 5
This weekâs obsessions, recommendations, and random things I just really need to tell you about:
1ď¸âŁ TV: I am unapologetically obsessed with Below Deck and right now, it's Below Deck Down Under and the drama and crew fighting is getting good! This is my weekly indulgence. Every Monday my husband and I watch and order sushi and it's a great way to start the week.
2ď¸âŁ Productivity tip: a to-do list with only 3 things on it. I never put more than 3 things on my daily list.
3ď¸âŁ Podcast: Swindled. This makes me want to start a third podcast and investigate corporations. I won't do it. But I'd like to.
4ď¸âŁ Snack: Power Crunch protein bars. Are they the most nutritious protein bars? No. Are they the most delicious? Yes. Balance.
5ď¸âŁ Self-Care: Naps. Nothing more to say here.
Thatâs all for now. Thanks for being part of this communityâwhere success is a given, failure is allowed, and hustle has boundaries.
Talk soon,
Teri.
